What the hell does “Flush the Toilet” mean?

As we all know, the things we put in our toilets aren’t too nice. We eat food and drink liquids and eventually return to the toilet and repeat the process.

Well our minds work in a similiar fashion; we put things ( concepts, notions, and ways of thinking) in and flush out the things that we don’t deem necessary or important; however, as our generation (us, students) grows, we are ever-increasing the same old junk that gets stored in our heads. In other words, we aren’t flushing enough, only retaining and retaining, toxicating the mind (it’s getting stinky up there).

One of the goals of Flush the Toilet is to flush out the old ways of thinking and start retaining the new. It’s 2006 and the toilet is full! Let’s flush out the old technology, concepts, ways of thinking, ways of seeing, and let’s start with some fresh water.

At the end of the day, “Flush the Toilet” is just an interesting name that I like, and it’s wont limit this cool student-based blog in any way or fashion. Endless possibilities!

Update [4.11.06]: Flush the Toilet has turned into a powerful blog focused on Student Entrepreneurship. I love helping other young entrepreneurs and I will continue to do so.

Sometimes “new” doesn’t always mean better. I think alot people are getting nostalgic nowadays. Can it due to the rapid modernization of the world? Modern technology is making privacy elusive these days.
Philosphically though, I think your idea/concept is nice. The world should start opening their minds to new and fresh ideas. Maybe, that would lead to the end of the nonsensical riots( over a cartoon) that are currently happening in around the world.
