Flush the Toilet: Young Entrepreneurs

Ever get one of those nasty cravings in the middle of the night after you come home from a long night of partying and there’s nothing to eat? Well, a little company called Insomnia Cookies has found a solution to your midnight munchies (lay off the ganga!).

This interesting company lets you order a variety of cookies, brownies, milk, tea, and drinks for a modest price. They’ll deliver your food straight to your dorm room (heaven!) ’til around 2:30 AM (sweet!).

Here’s a little history from their site:

As undergrads, we figured out what was missing from the perfect college experience: dependable late night food delivery. It seems that every night at about the same time, students get hungry, either because they study hard, they party hard, or both. Regardless, college students need to be fed, and we set out to do that, because we too were hungry once. As you probably know, the only food available at night (without having to trek to the market) is greasy and heavy. Insomnia Cookies was born out of our dislike of heavy meals late at night, our love of food delivery, and our realization that by the time we got hungry at night, nothing was open.

I tip my hat to these guys. I love the idea and it’s a perfect business to cater to college students all around the country. It makes me happy seeing college students innovate on this level, so awesome.
