Start a Club

Ever think about starting a club at your school? If not, then you might want to give it some thought. From my own experiences, starting a club opens many ways to network and build relationships with other students at your school. And, of course, networking is essential to any entrepreneur.

Wouldn’t it be cool to start an entrepreneur club at your school? You could have brainstorming sessions, invite guest speakers, give presentations, people could pitch their businesses, all of these fun things.

I definitely think that it’s worth the effort starting a club. It usually entails filling out some forms and writing a constitution for the club. Having a club could prove to being a powerful asset to you and your members. Think about all of that wonderful synergy and sharing of information.

So give it a shot, will ya?

Have you started a club already? Share your story.

Hey, that sounds like a great idea! Too bad I’m off to college next year . Even though I’m 15, it’s complicated to explain how I’m going to college next year, yet creating a club with interested entrepreneur’s would have been a really great idea.

I think I would spring this idea on my friend’s who are continuing to go to my high school for next year.

keep up the good advice David

Sean,

Good luck with college next year, I’m sure that you’ll do great.

Hey, even in college you can create a club, I did and it worked out just fine.

Yeah, definitely tell your friends about starting a club, it’s a good move.

Keep me in the loop,

Dave

[…] Another awesome way to network with other students is to start a club. Why not start an entrepreneurship club at your school? And if they already have one, simply start something more focused, say, on your favorite area of business, e.g., marketing, investing, or accounting. […]
