Blackberry
As an entrepreneur I’m sure that you’ve heard of a Blackberry, if you haven’t then you may want to look into getting one. I love my Blackberry. It’s always with me. It’s the perfect solution for writing and receiving emails when I’m out of my office (actually it’s just an extra room in my house that I call my office).
You can do a bunch of cool things with the Blackberry like play games, write memos, set important dates, instant messaging, set tasks, alarms, and checking out the internet of course. I mostly just use it for the emailing.
If you’re away from your dorm room, home, or office and need a way to quickly access your email, then the Blackberry is for you.

I don’t have a Blackberry and probably never well. It’s tempting. Tempting as hell. But I won’t budge. Here’s why:
If you’re away from your computer and want full access to the desktop your used to, you can have it. And the best part is that the functionality is built right into Windows XP Pro. If you’re using Home edition, then the Pro version is a pretty inexpensive upgrade. Once you’re sure you’re using XP Pro, check out the Remote Desktop functionality (Google it for more info). It allows you to log in from any other Windows XP machine and see your computer as if you are sitting right in front of it.
How often are you away from ANY computer? Not that often.
And what I find is that if I am away from the computer it is for two reasons: (1) I don’t want to be distracted because I am doing something important/productive. In that case, a Blackberry would only hinder my productivity. (2) I’m in a car or walking somewhere. In that case, for the short amount of time that I am away, the world will not fall apart. Sometimes it’s good for your mental health to just travel somewhere and, for just 15 minutes, not worry about emails. Just blast some music, take out a magazine, etc - take a break - if you don’t allow yourself a few minutes every now and then to breathe, then by the end of the day/week, you’ll go insane.
