Go It Alone , Bruce Judson
I am currently reading this online book called “Go It Alone” by Bruce Judson. Now maybe I shouldn’t be recommending it yet since I’m only on page 32, but I couldn’t help myself.
The book is really off to a great start. Judson is a firm believer that an entrepreneur can absolutely make it on his own without building a team or by just having a very small team. That’s basically what I am doing now, so I guess you can call me a proponent of his teachings.
You’ll read about many entrepreneurs who started companies with minimal seed money and have turned something small into something big. Believe it or not, you can start a company with almost zero bucks nowadays…amen.
He talks about outsourcing the things that aren’t a part of your core understandings and focus on the things that you can really do well; the things that can really help your business start generating cash.
I just started reading this free online book, and I’m already learning new things so I just had to share that with FTT readers. I look forward to reading some comments about what you guys thought about the book.

Hey Dave, where in the world do you get this stuff? Now you got me hooked on another book
Another good book I know of is “Copy This!” by Paul Orfalea (founder of Kinko’s). I don’t know if you’ve read it, but Paul had dyslexia yet he managed to create such an empire. My favorite quote from the book is “I could barely run the first copier we leased back in 1970. It didn’t matter. All I knew was that I could sell what came out of it” Btw, he is coming to my university in two weeks, so I’ll actually get to meet the guy.
