Introductions please
Hello everyone. My name is Eric Allam and this is my first post of hopefully many being a guest blogger here at Flush the Toilet. I ran across David’s blog and gasped as I realized I hadn’t seen any blog that focused solely on Student Entrepreneurship, and after contacting him and having some good convo’s, he invited me to guest blog here. I run another blog that I should update more often over at Engineleven.com.
A little about myself:
I am a 22 year old senior at Florida State University and I have wanted to start my own business since I worked at McDonald’s when I was 15 years old. I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t leave college without a business earning positive cash flow. As it turns out there are two ways to achieve that goal: by actually starting a business in the black, or by never leaving college. While I am doing the latter I am also doing the former, so it works out. I am currently building a multifaceted real estate business involving a new type of For Sale By Owner website in Florida and also making investments in property. I golf, build things online, make movies, and watch great tv shows in my spare time.
I was going to include my introduction with my first post but I decided it’d be much too long-winded. Instead, im going to throw out a list of titles of the posts im working on as a teaser.

Music for Entrepreneurial success
All these posts will probably be very opinionated, because thats just how I am. I feel very strongly about the things I care about and think are true. Any entrepreneur that wants to be successful must be passionate. I may not be the most authoritative, or qualified, and I may not be the best writer, but I am here, and I will try to do my best to help others like myself. It’s pretty exciting to see students getting really interested in this. I live it every day, and I wouldn’t do it any other way.
I would love to hear from you guys, my email is pretty easy to remember, EricAllam [AT] gmail DOT com.

heya Eric, welcome to FTT
I have just come across this blog recently, and found it rather interesting.
